EDITT: Those asking whether there's main story content, I do recall a small part of the stream where there is an animation of March is spying on Luo Cha While we're waiting for en stream, just hold onto this dose of copium.

Also, do read the text of the post since there's wayy too many questions on where the codes are. There will be codes in the eng stream.

Making it since I've not seen one pinned. The current eng Livestream is delayed but there's the bilibili Livestream. Codes don't work tho.

March 7th and Fire MC make a great team. Especially if you pulled for JY and got some extra copies.

The small shield from FireMc procs a ton of small hits from March 7th for her ult. At 70, with the right set, her shield is like 2500. Lasts long enough to be on every single player, and your weakest character gets a mini shield at the start.

Plus, you still get taunt. It's enough to get a team through almost all content.

    Man, I do prefer just running without a healer and using M7 to just stall/shield and win before I die. But battling through MoC I feel like I've hit a wall that a healer/Gepard would help me break through much more easily on my second team.

      But Serval and Dan Heng take the same team slot as the previous two 5* characters released (and even if you didn’t pull for one of them, we already had Shushang which shares a slot with Dan heng, and all 3 of them are free characters which means no one is getting anything new) which for a lot of people they’re wasted slots (aint nobody building more than two teams this early in the game other than gigawhales) or very mid character boosts in terms of constellations…

      Was hoping that Yukong is on the first banner since now they locked all Imaginary sources on Luocha’s banner which makes no sense for me to pull on as 5* characters are premium currency in gacha games and the moment you get a bailu/gepard or they release another 4* healer/shielder, most people will regret pulling for a glorified healer.

      Edit: also, extremely criminal that pela is already getting a rerun before our boy Sampo even sees a banner. I understand that he’s likely to come with kafka, but still…

      Not really... other than both being lightning breakers, Serval and Jing's roles are almost total opposites. The former is a SP-generating sub-DPS that you throw in when you need lightning break, the latter is a resource-eating hyper-carry that you'll be building around. Dan is a generic DPS but you do need two, and his E2 makes him do more ST damage than an E0 Seele (ignoring resets).

      At the very least, getting their eidolons might be enough to bump them from the bench to maybe part of your 2nd team.

      Besides, unless you won early on Seele or Jing banner, would you even have enough pulls to be going for SW?

      What resource are you using to backup the claim of DH more dps than Seele at E2? On prydwen, seele is 315k with no Resurgence procs vs DH E2 is 311k with perfect rotation (always applying his passive on ult) which is not always realistic.

      For serval, sure, maybe she’s not comparable.

      I’m not sure what your point is in the last paragraph, what does pull economy have to do with the argument of whether the 4* on the banner are good or not?

      Edit: Also, as I already stated all 3 of these characters are already free so the idea that you ‘Need two anyway’ doesn’t make sense, you already have all 3 of them.

      My bad, I misread, but yeah basically the same. Agreed that E2 rotation is especially hard to keep up, but even if you slip up every once in awhile, it's still a pretty damn good option if you're in need of an ST DPS.

      Just an answer to you saying the 4-stars overlap the last two 5-star banners.

      • Case 1: You pulled for Seele/Jing and don't have the pulls for SW, so you can't pull, so even if they overlapped it doesn't matter.
      • Case 2: You didn't pull and don't have Seele/Jing, so even if they overlapped it doesn't matter.

      ‘Need two anyway’

      The point was that if you weren't using them before, their eidolons might make them more attractive options to start using for that 2nd team.

      What about me who has been saving for SW since launch so i don't have seele or yuan, but also doesn't use dan or serval in either of my two teams (clara comp and hook comp)

      to me the banner is disappointing, although asta ediolons are welcome i'm kind of w/e. I'm also missing so many 4 star characters

      i can only speak for myself because my opinion is only about myself, and thus i find the banner pretty garbage. I'm sure many others vocal about their feelings feel the same way

      I could care less about the circumstances or made up scenarios

                              Is there any chance for Hoyo to make the companion quests something like a pre-requirement for 1.2 actual story (especially Yanqing's and Luocha's, assuming we really don't get anything in 1.1)? Seems weird enough to meet them in what's basically a side quest instead of actual story, not to mention inviting them to the Express after the quest.

                                  Yeah this game can’t really get away with updating the story as sparsely as Genshin IMO; there’s a lot less to do, and turn based rpgs are basically carried by their story. If you’re not constantly updating it then why tf am I playing.

                                    They've commented on how the Sancticus Medicus (or whatever it's called) feels like a side quest so I wonder if they are making changes so we get a new quest in its place that actually ties the story together better when they move SM to a side quest. Granted, this doesn't do shit for players who already did the quest but for those who still haven't as well as new players it would be nice. Though I can understand them not being able to get it pushed through in a few weeks

Spent so many gems on Rosaria's debut banner only to get two Childe (who for me at that point was Sampo without the charisma) and zero Rosaria. Never chasing a 4 star on a MHY banner ever again unless I also want the 5 star.

                                            Asta is the third best 4* in the game after Tingyun and Natasha right now as per players who've cleared Memory of Chaos.

                                            Her Fire Break essentially makes her a defensive support buffer/debuffer because she speeds your team up while slowing the enemy down.

                                                  To an extent I agree with you. Though I do just enjoy the battle system, so I never skip fights. It is a little different because of the roguelike aspect and getting to try new builds. But I do get that some people don't enjoy that sort of thing.

                                                  In a similar vein, if the teapot in genshin didn't give rewards I never would have even set foot there. It's not really my thing in games like these. I'd rather just go play Animal Crossing to do that.

                                                  I play Mihoyo games for the core gameplay loop, so I enjoy when there are modes with experimental tweaks to it.

                                                                More like SW is the waifu pull which is a no brainer, then the Luocha one is double imaginary pulls and the temptation of a just a 4 star which also a waifu so also a no brainer. I think statistic wise this is the better choice for the devs. More people will drain SW and pitty pull for QQ
