Key Account Manager
Job Summary:
- Maintain/ Build business relationships with assigned accounts
- Develop market share with the assigned accounts by pursuing additional business opportunities
- Proactively arrange & facilitate MBR/ QBR for the assigned accounts
- Take ownership on RFI/RFQ for the assigned accounts
- Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective accounts
- Effectively interacts with other departments including account management, operation & logistics teams, and finance department
- Study the market inclusive, but not limit to competitors, carriers, manufacturers, to be updated market trends, fluctuation, change
- Timely submission of sales report to direct manager or higher levels when required
- Protect the company’s benefit by strictly complying with all policies and regulations
- Ensure compliance to the Bollore’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations
- Ensure understanding and implementation on Bollore’s Value in daily work behavior
- Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements
- Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics Industry
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Good in communication and negotiation
- Strategic thinking and statistical analysis skills
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proactive, resourceful with ability to work well independently or in groups
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- English fluency (Speaking, Writing, Reading) required
- Experience in a fast-paced international environment
- Openness to travel (domestic and overseas)
- Ability to work in fast moving environment
