Despite a noticeable downturn in the UK’s employment sector, salaries are witnessing an unparalleled surge, as indicated by the newest official data according to the Office for National Statistics. They say UK pay has risen at record rate despite growth in unemployment. The overall earnings for the three months ending in July 2023 saw an 8.5% ascent compared to the same timeframe the previous year. The disparity between the strength of pay and the rest of the official labor market data will intensify the Bank of England's decision regarding the whether to raise interest rates for the 15th consecutive time in its upcoming meeting next week. Starting his journey at Phaidon International in March 2017, Nick has gone from strength to strength. Originally joining the DSJ Global team in London, Nick earned 7 promotions in 6.5 years.
