Netflix: We will give you all the seasons of a show except for the last one, sound good

[–]thanosfrom2014 5864 points5865 points 2 (306 children)

*We will give you all the seasons of a show, because we'll cancel it after season 1 anyway

“We will delete your favorite shows just because”

[–]psychxticrose 895 points896 points  (69 children)

Netflix: We’ll delete your favorite shows.
Hulu: we’ll delete your favorite shows.
Prime: we’ll delete your favorite shows.

Hbo Max: We have all your favorite shows now. Give us your money.

[–]HooptyDooDooMeister 406 points407 points  (40 children)

Physical media: You bought it. You own it forever.

[–]HappyScrappyHeeroPup 309 points310 points  (21 children)

I used to feel that way until a house fire. Really made me realize what “forever” meant in terms of possessions. Was a turning point in my relationship with “stuff”.

[–]SkySplatWoomy 13 points14 points  (2 children)

Why the fuck did the hobbit go from free with amazon prime to not free?

[–]Friendly_Fishstick 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Licensing contact changed.

[–]greenking180 17 points18 points  (5 children)

I don't think people realize how much Warner media actually owns I definitely didn't realize it until I saw HBO max they own possibly the best media library in the world second only to Disney and even that seems like it could be a legitimate debate if you wanted too

[–]CARVER_I_AM 6 points7 points  (4 children)

Did Disney expand or something? I got it day one but quickly unsubbed as I felt the content was super lacking and haven’t bothered looking again.

[–]InvisibleLeftHand 5 points6 points  (3 children)

(censored name of pirate site): Here's all the shows you want. We don't want your money.

[–]Castun 673 points674 points  (85 children)

Ah, the George RR Martin approach.

[–]randy_lahey0 248 points249 points  (60 children)

I'm still gonna read the fuck out of Winds of Winter if it ever comes out.

[–]Swarzsinne 180 points181 points  (41 children)

I just hope he leaves a fucking outline for the last book since he's almost definitely going to die before he finishes it. Hell, it's a toss up if he'll get this one done.

[–]HostileHippie91 49 points50 points  (8 children)

Anybody who’s still clinging to that hope is in for a rude awakening. “If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.”

[–]a_guy_that_loves_cat 24 points25 points  (18 children)

Sorry for my stupidity. Can you elaborate?

[–]SteadyastheOcean 68 points69 points  (12 children)

George RR Martin wrote four entries in the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones) before taking a loooooong hiatus from releasing anything else. The series was intended to have six books. Talking about the release of the next book, the Winds of Winter, is basically a running joke now as it's not likely to ever be finished.

[–]The-Box_King 162 points163 points  (86 children)

Only stranger things gets season 5+ privileges, Netflix doesn't care about anything else Edit: I forgot about a bunch of shows, but of we get stranger things season 9... Don't say I didn't warn you

[–]The_Real_Lily 67 points68 points  (12 children)

Bojack got 6 though

[–]GoldenSpermShower 45 points46 points  (2 children)

actually it was meant to have another season but Netflix made them condense it into the sixth and final season

[–]iamconfused24 28 points29 points  (9 children)

The Last Kingdom is def one of my Netflix favorites and it's lasted a while, though I think Netflix only picked it up after it's first season

[–]Razorlance 91 points92 points  (29 children)

Lucifer boutta get a Season 6

[–]fenderguitar83 40 points41 points  (16 children)

I would love that, but where would the show go from the end of season 5? It was a great ending to the series I thought.

[–]Whats_a_trombone 18 points19 points  (6 children)

It was originally written to get 7ish I think, but after 4 they made the decision to end it at 5. Which is probably why the ending felt so cut short and left so many questions

[–]Bobebobbobtrans rights 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Iirc they planned s5 as being the ending befire filming it, then redid the finale and part of the episode before that when it got renewed.

[–]Solid_Snark 17 points18 points  (1 child)

The reason is Lucifer got like 3 seasons on network television. So Netflix has only produced 3 seasons.

The way they structure their contracts, usually they won’t invest more than 3-4 seasons. So Lucifer might get more, but only because the first seasons don’t count on Netflix’s dime.

[–]CapNKirkland 522 points523 points  (12 children)

Netflix: We will give you the 2nd and 3rd movie of a trillogy or franchise but not the first movie.

[–]hugoreturns 106 points107 points  (7 children)

in my country, Kickass 2 was available for a long time, only Kickass 2.

and when they finally put kickass into the service, Kickass 2 left

and now both movies are gone :(

[–]0dna 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Batman begin and the dark knight but no rises. Yeah the 3rd one isn’t as great but still. Come on.

[–]Kryllic 115 points116 points  (24 children)

Netflix: We will give you seasons 4-6 and you'll have to deal with it.

[–]aj_thenoob 52 points53 points  (19 children)

We will cancel all of our shows after 1 or 2 seasons.

Amazon Prime: thanks for paying for this. Now please pay to watch it.

[–]Winter188Rage comics 2653 points2654 points  (264 children)

Thanks for paying for the show when you already paid for the service. Now, we're going to put on long ads every five minutes that you can't skip when you PAID for it

[–]RedditorNumber-AXWGQ 688 points689 points  (13 children)

Oh, prime cable came back into the chat.

[–]Rc202402 187 points188 points  (12 children)

r/Piracy be like: You guys paying for prime cable?

[–]AnusDrill 85 points86 points  (8 children)

Honestly I am willing to pay for content, but their way do double charging is literally encouraging piracy.

So I did what they want, I dropped prime and kept Netflix and Disney.

ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

[–]--deleted_account-- 344 points345 points  (200 children)

What ads are you talking about? I only ever get short skipable ads of other movies on prime

[–]Winter188Rage comics 285 points286 points  (196 children)

It's on the channels you have to pay for extra. I had to pay $13 so I could finish Vikings, and they had unskippable ads that were 45s-1m long I swear every five minutes.

[–]--deleted_account-- 116 points117 points  (128 children)

Oh ok, I haven't paid for any additional premium channels so far. There's enough for me to watch on Prime already, so I currently don't feel the need to spend even more on it

[–]WinstonSEightyFourNice meme you got there 106 points107 points  (126 children)

I was tremendously underwhelmed with Amazon Prime. I got it for The Boys (great show, highly recommend for anyone who hasn’t watched it) but there was nothing that really jumped out at me after that, apart from maybe The Man in the High Castle.

Can’t wait for the LotR series though!

[–]JxY1989 34 points35 points  (19 children)

Hmm, that only exists in America I think. Definitely nothing like that in the UK.

[–]jesp676a 24 points25 points  (11 children)

Yeah same in Denmark. Bless the EU sometimes

[–]__Storm_Blessed__ 332 points333 points  (313 children)

Amazon's got shit all besides invincible and I can watch that on... Other sites

[–]deadhair69 406 points407 points  (95 children)

The boys is pretty good

[–]Notophishthalmus 207 points208 points  (50 children)

The Expanse

[–]ignoremeplstks 71 points72 points  (13 children)

I like Marvelous Ms Maisel too

[–]AceLarkin 96 points97 points  (32 children)

1000 times the Expanse. SPREAD THE WORD BELTALOWDA

[–]colonelnebulous 18 points19 points  (16 children)

The Exspanse is a big hit in the Poly Sci community

[–]Notophishthalmus 6 points7 points  (3 children)

The books are incredible too, I’m only halfway through the first though

[–]panspal 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Good omens

[–]ArcAngel071 28 points29 points  (8 children)

Karl Urban is iconic in his role

[–]BrandNewBike 38 points39 points  (5 children)

Really liked Upload too

[–]dinochoochoo 11 points12 points  (3 children)

Upload was a lot of fun but I feel like it barely made any ripples. I was pleasantly surprised that it got a second season.

[–]The_Swim_Back_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It did!?!? Great news, really like this show.

[–]Muad-_-Dib 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I think it was bad marketing that contributed to it being so obscure.

For the longest time it just looked like a throwaway comedy trying to ape off of The Good Place.

But I watched it randomly one night and I was pleasantly surprised with it.

[–]CreatureWarriorProfessional Dumbass 10 points11 points  (21 children)

Yes. Currently on season 2. It's nice. But after that and a few movies and shows, I'm definitely ending the subscription haha

[–]Shikhar2604 34 points35 points  (17 children)

The man in the high castle, the expanse, the boys are pretty good. I've heard good things about Homecoming too.

[–]ignoremeplstks 23 points24 points  (10 children)

Anyone that likes drama and comedy, Fleabag and Marvelous Ms Maisel are both great too

[–]hello_motherfuckers_ 57 points58 points  (7 children)

they have the grand tour

[–]DominicVahn 14 points15 points  (6 children)

They also have James May in Japan and Clarkson's Farm just dropped. Both are excellent if you like the presenters.

[–]Marvin0Jenkins 49 points50 points  (7 children)

Invincible, the boys and the expanse for me.

I am obsessed with all three but they have fuck all else that pulls me in ...

[–]Occamslaser 20 points21 points  (20 children)

Expanse is pretty much the best Scifi series ever made.

[–]drgnslyr33 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Don't forget The Boys .

[–]abbyzou 67 points68 points  (22 children)

Had to go thru that weekly bs for invincible, now on Disney+ for loki. Man I wish those were on netflix lol

[–]QuinZ33 7 points8 points  (2 children)

The Expanse, The Boys, Good Omens

[–]_Odian 10 points11 points  (25 children)

There are parts in the world you need to pay further for watching Prime content?

[–]DeviaI 17 points18 points  (8 children)

Not prime content. It's just that people don't realise that Amazon has prime, the streaming service, and also their online video rental/purchase service rolled into one UI.

[–]IllurinatiL 2450 points2451 points  (136 children)

The problem with Netflix is that they give you one season of a show every three years

[–]Steampunk43🏴Virus Veteran 🏴 854 points855 points  (76 children)

And it's never the first season.

[–]primalfox_Reynardo 237 points238 points  (61 children)

I want to watch lucifer but they don’t have the first seasons, utter crap.

[–]Steampunk43🏴Virus Veteran 🏴 138 points139 points  (13 children)

Me too. All the good stuff on Netflix is either just the first season or just the later seasons. I want to watch Black Butler but they have only had the 4th season for a few years.

[–]nfleite 33 points34 points  (1 child)

Oh is this a normal thing? I've been wanting to watch Man Like Mobeen and Netflix only has the 3rd season. No first or second. Only 3rd. And it's not the only show as well. wtf?

[–]1mikeg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yup, very common. They're picking up the licenses from distributors and that's all they're able/willing to afford or those seasons are still region locked because of other broadcasting rights.

[–]rawrdid 25 points26 points  (8 children)

Where are you that Netflix doesn't have the first season? Ik it used to be a fox show. My Netflix (USA) has it and it sounds like someone else (Netherlands) has it? Kinda odd you're only missing the 1 season

[–]DocAuch 211 points212 points  (41 children)

And most of their shows are dogshit in the meantime.

[–]DankVectorz 149 points150 points  (20 children)

And then they just cancel it as it’s getting good

[–]Hulton-Sama 67 points68 points  (16 children)

Altered Carbon was good but you know what? Cancel it and make another season of Gina and Georgia.

[–]FullyMammoth 25 points26 points  (4 children)

With how much the quality dropped in season 2 I'm not even bothered there wasn't more. Clearly they just got lucky on the first season.

[–]Northern-Canadian 10 points11 points  (2 children)

We talking about the live action or the cartoon?

The live action season 1 was really great. But season 2… Anthony Mackie just didn’t have the same vibe as Joel Kinnaman from the first season; so it was a jarring switch.

[–]MrTacoTuesday35 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Altered Carbon was okay at best. Started off great, and then had cringe movements of grandma talking about Jesus.

[–]FedExterminator 11 points12 points  (1 child)

The religious aspects of it were interesting and had some cool implications since it created voluntary permadeath, but I agree the show spent WAY too much time on it. It effectively went nowhere and didn’t help the storyline much at all. The followers of that religion came across as judgmental cultists and it was only important when someone was about to get shot in the face anyway.

[–]I_could_use_a_nap 24 points25 points  (11 children)

It's kinda funny how the "Netflix original" logo is basically a big do not watch sign for me at this point. They definitely went pure quantity over quality.

[–]Joy1312Chungus Among Us 2865 points2866 points  (202 children)

But weekly anime is stopped by Netflix. They release the entire anime together only after 1 season is completed. Which takes like 3 months

[–]DreadedWard 1372 points1373 points  (55 children)

Was about to mention this. I hate it when Netflix gobbles up anime because while everything else is currently being released, their seasonal anime sits in Netflix jail for about 3-4 months.

[–]JustTheSaba 402 points403 points  (37 children)

They locked up Edens Zero and Shaman King which will take around 6 months to be released

[–]Doobalicious69 167 points168 points  (20 children)

Shaman King! There's a blast of nostalgia I didn't expect today.

Thank you!

[–]PaleontologistFull42 28 points29 points  (8 children)

It's on netflix now? No joke?..... bye I'll be back in a few days.

[–]dylano_123 29 points30 points  (0 children)

They are talking about the remake, which isn't finished yet

[–]No_Influence8281Nice meme you got there 18 points19 points  (2 children)

It will take 6 months what the heck will you watch?

[–]BobbyTheRedditUser 180 points181 points  (40 children)

Here in denmark we get a season of anime a year later than y'all and then we wait 2 years for the next and it takes like 4 days to watch a season

[–]0JustaMemer0memer 68 points69 points  (4 children)

Damn that’s sooo unfortunate

[–]wakasagihime_ 22 points23 points  (3 children)

I know you're likely saying it genuinely here, but the way you wrote it just makes it sound so sarcastic lmao. Like your country has it much worse than the Danish

[–]Thotley_Crue 31 points32 points  (31 children)

I’d just get a vpn then, have to say it’s one of the better things i pay monthly for because I watch Netflix stuff from all around the world that I don’t get here

[–]Illustrious_Song_222 10 points11 points  (8 children)

What VPN would you recommend... Or better yet what one do you use?

[–]Thotley_Crue 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I just use express and I’ve been having good luck with it, I’ve only had a few places get picked up by Netflix, but If you just change the region within that country it usually goes through

[–]Thotley_Crue 7 points8 points  (2 children)

You can probably find some you tubers code out in the wild that gives a discount as well

[–]electrorazorSelling Stonks for CASH MONEY 45 points46 points  (16 children)

I would just pirate at that point lmao

[–]Staynes 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Its basically piracy from a legal standpoint anyway since you are Viewing content you originally dont have acess to. Might aswell safe the netflix money and just Pirate the shows with ur vpn sub.

[–]awesomesauce135 20 points21 points  (3 children)

Yeah it really sucks. I really like Beastars, but I pirated both seasons cause I wanted to keep with with other people and their reactions to it rather than wait for Netflix.

[–]Ronergetic 12 points13 points  (0 children)

New Godzilla anime is airing

Me: ooo I’ll like watching that weekly

Netflix: no you can’t, we like releasing everything at once, now wait three months This is painful

[–]datarioniboii 7 points8 points  (1 child)

So Nick Robinson did a video about this talking how Terrace House and My Hero Academia was held to show all at once bcs Netflix loves the binge watching thing.

Here is the video: https://youtu.be/1330RHvXQrU

[–]maaaark_nuuuutt 15 points16 points  (11 children)

I don't watch anime so I'm not entirely sure but I live in Japan and I think they still do weekly episodes here.

[–]rob5300 26 points27 points  (9 children)

Japan is the exception as it's broadcast weekly and I'd presume other services there also do it weekly. It would just put them at a big disadvantage.

Guess we can use a VPN :(

[–]DDozar 9 points10 points  (6 children)

Netflix via VPN won't have subs or dubs for new shows, and rarely has them for existing ones. So it's kinda bum for that use

[–]Dota2WatcherFam 424 points425 points  (19 children)

It's the entire opposite regards shows made by other companies.

Like, what's the point of adding South Park with just 3 random seasons?

[–]stalkakuma 2646 points2647 points  (257 children)

You misspelled "because we want for you to be subscribed to our paid service for longer."

[–]Electr1f1er 899 points900 points  (170 children)

Or you can be smart and buy the subscription when all the episodes are released.

[–]stalkakuma 803 points804 points  (136 children)

You can be even smarter and get a trial when all the episodes are released!

[–]Electr1f1er 294 points295 points  (75 children)

Gigabrain move ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

[–]100BlackKids 247 points248 points  (72 children)

Or be a pirate and not pay a penny to BigDaddyDisney at all!

[–]lig_01Identifies as a Cybertruck 99 points100 points  (35 children)

Or be a pirate, get involved in homelabs, build your own streaming server, add a seedbox and end up spending way more money than you'd have in the beginning, but at least you had fun setting up everything.

Edit: My stupid big fingers hitting the wrong letter on my mobile keyboard

[–]Tharakesh_SScumbag Steve 18 points19 points  (3 children)

Annie are you ok?

[–]_Warsheep_ 18 points19 points  (3 children)

That's what I'm planning with Disney+ and The Mandalorian. I don't give a shit about the other Disney stuff so I won't pay them monthly to only watch one episode a week.

[–]wander995 39 points40 points  (12 children)

Or you can smartest and you know... Harrr!

[–]Ur_Girls_In_My_DMs 167 points168 points  (71 children)

Some people do like the old school excitement of waiting for an episode to release. Binging a show can be fun, but it removes all speculation, fan theories, etc.

[–]Busteray 80 points81 points  (25 children)

Exactly this. Imagine if GoT was released in bulk. It would be a lot less fun to watch imo.

[–]DangerZoneh 40 points41 points  (13 children)

Yeah, like Loki for example. I’m way more excited to watch that week by week and get to read theories and discuss than if it were released all at once

[–]QuinZ33 19 points20 points  (7 children)

It depends on the show.

I'm very happy that The Expanse moved to a weekly release. The discussions on /r/TheExpanse were much more robust for season 5 compared to season 4 (when it was released all at once).

[–]Dengar96 20 points21 points  (5 children)

All the shows Disney drops weekly are better for it. Mandolorian, bad batch, the marvel shows, they all benefit from pronlonged conservation and speculation from fans. Reddit loves weekly releases there's memes from these shows dropping everyday on this site.

[–]QuinZ33 5 points6 points  (1 child)

WandaVision would have have been less enjoyable if I had to dodge spoilers all over the place before I could watch it. I enjoyed the fan content as well.

[–]Occamslaser 6 points7 points  (4 children)

I've been a Netflix sub since before streaming was a thing.

[–]HansChrst1 217 points218 points  (26 children)

In Norway we had to wait a whole year before we could stream The Mandalorian. They still only released one episode per week.

[–]JJ_the_G 87 points88 points  (19 children)

VPN time

[–]HansChrst1 98 points99 points  (17 children)

That doesn't work. Well it does, but i also need a American credit card. Pirating works fine though.

Edit: it didn't work a year ago when most of the world didn't have Disney+. VPN worked fine. I just couldn't pay for it. When D+ was released to the rest of the world i could use VPN to watch all of season 1. That doesn't make it any less ridiculous that Disney decided to release an episode per week as if it wasn't a 1 year old show.

[–]aliaisbiggae 19 points20 points  (8 children)

Use windscribe vpn, it is free and works on Netflix and hbo max for me. It might work for Disney plus too. Just remember to download the chrome extension

[–]comicclub1089 10 points11 points  (1 child)

In Ireland, Disney plus launched right as lockdown started, which was perfect timing, but we also had to wait for a new Mandalorian episode every week, even though most people already knew what happened.

[–]mfeldman88 73 points74 points  (5 children)

I thought it was less "people will be talking about it longer" and more "if we release the episodes weekly, we can prevent people from just watching the whole thing in the 7-day trial"

[–]Asparagun_1 30 points31 points  (0 children)

however they can simply wait for the show they want to finish, then they have 7 days to binge it.

[–]DroppedLasagna 1454 points1455 points  (36 children)

Netflix is a pump and dump whore. Amazon and disney are stalkers that watch you through a window and jerk off to your feet once a week.

[–]aque78 655 points656 points  (7 children)

That's a oddly specific definition

[–]MrNoName_ishereOne does not simply 163 points164 points  (4 children)

[–]ZzzSleep 21 points22 points  (2 children)

At least Invincible has already been renewed for seasons 2 & 3.

[–]minnieminute 21 points22 points  (7 children)

8-13 episodes are fine though. No stupid filler episodes like on actual tv.

[–]HooptyDooDooMeister 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A major exception: Stranger Things 2. It had 9 episodes, and there was definitely a filler episode that convinced everyone it is best at 8.

[–]HansenIntercept 780 points781 points  (129 children)

Not that Disney puts out insane stuff, but I’d definitely rather wait every week for a good show than get a full season of garbage at once.

[–]ssejn 570 points571 points  (60 children)

Not only that, but I like watching episode every week. It creates discussion, memes, anticipation, hype. While, watching a new show instantly creates and hype for a two - dry days and it's done. Look at the Umbrella Academy, that show would be 10x more popular and hype with a weekly release.

[–]leocristo28 308 points309 points  (18 children)

Was gonna say this - look at the mcu shows, especially WandaVision earlier this year. The weekly wait was definitely a huuuge part of its format, and proved extremely successful. The sheer amount of weekly conversations was incredible

[–]Velvetshirts 79 points80 points  (5 children)

Agreed, I’d have weekly conversations with my friends after each episode, personally I enjoyed the “delay” and the anticipation it brings to us. Feels like a proper tv show, like how it’s supposed to be. Watching loki rn.

[–]somethinghaha 96 points97 points  (6 children)

The sheer amount of mephisto speculations was incredible

but for real, the amount of speculations and conversations after each episodes that aired is crazy.

[–]_Diskreet_ 33 points34 points  (3 children)

New Loki show - we are hunting a new variant it’s you, Loki

Fan theories - well, you know, it could still be mephisto and they’re just trying to trick us!!

[–]somethinghaha 22 points23 points  (2 children)

At first when they show the Devil in the church, my first reaction was Mephisto Confirmed!

[–]justAPhoneUsername 61 points62 points  (4 children)

For every marvel show that's come out, I've gotten a group to do a weekly watch party. Having a weekly thing to do with people makes the shows way more fun than binging them by yourself

[–]JayCDee 29 points30 points  (4 children)

Yeah, lot at The Witcher, great show, but all the hype dried out pretty fast because everyone binged it, tossed a coin to their wither for a month or so, and went back to doing nothing.

[–]farva_06 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I'm already dying for the next episode of Loki.

[–]JJ_the_G 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Most of their shows that have had hype is pretty good, I think it has to do with the Disney level production budget

Netflix actually has a lot of good originals. The problem is they cancel them after 2/3 seasons.

Netflix tried weekly updates with Star Trek: Discovery (and I think Orphan Black was like that for a while?) I guess they decided it wasn't worth the hassle unless a network twisted their arm.

I think Netflix still has some shows with weekly released episodes.

[–]Blitzerxyz 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Yeah like Snowpiercer that was weekly.

But those shows aren't Netflix original

Star trek was a CBS All Access show

Some shows on Netflix are often released in 2 « parts » even though it’s technically one season, like Lupin or Money Heist

[–]Jacobtranpop9Nice meme you got there 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Netflix lives off their invention of binge watching.

[–]iRobertRS 53 points54 points  (2 children)

but also netflix takes 1000 years to bring a show to their platform

[–]Fluffball_Owner87 47 points48 points  (2 children)

Also Netflix: deletes 10 seasons off the show you liked yes Netflix, a hate you because of indigo league

[–]Liranmashu 336 points337 points  (114 children)

Weekly format is the superior format

[–]Diazed_ 122 points123 points  (19 children)

Agreed. I like to talk about an episode after its release. With weekly releases everyone is on the same page.

Otherwise the show gets binged and everyone is at another episode.
Oh and the spoilers...

[–]Dragonkight2005 70 points71 points  (14 children)

With weekly episodes you can also enjoy the show for a longer time, atleast for me.

[–]InstantHakan 83 points84 points  (25 children)

Actually I like the way Disney is doing it with marvel and releasing one part a week. That way I have at least one thing to be excited for the coming week…

[–]leftshoe18 33 points34 points  (10 children)

Plus the episodic format fosters discussion and community building. I love the weekly format.

I really hate these memes that shill for corporations.

[–]The_Sloppyjoe 88 points89 points  (36 children)

I like the staggered release. It keeps me from Binging the entire show in a day

[–]Dem0nicuigi 42 points43 points  (3 children)

Ngl it has its advantages. Most person can find some time for a single episode a week, so I can always talk about the show. Like in good old got times. When the whole season is instantly released on Netflix, everyone is in a different time stamp and u can’t rly talk about the show

[–]MARVELhero96 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Imma watch that whole thing in a day.

[–]VonDinky 13 points14 points  (1 child)

I prefer Netflix. Having the whole season to binge is the better experience for me.
