Now this is sad for everyone with a younger sibling.

[–]beluuuuuuga 1948 points1949 points 2 (71 children)

I'm the younger sibling. My brother used to have to cut the pasta bit off ravioli because o didn't like the insides before, he also had to cut all the crusts off his pizza because I didn't like the toppings.

I try make up to him nowadays by allowing him to do his own stuff and helping him with stuff he doesn't like

. God I love my brother

[–]unkn0wn_RA1NB0W 637 points638 points  (29 children)

"Everyone liked that."

[–]RevolutionaryPhoenixIdentifies as a Cybertruck 224 points225 points  (12 children)

I wish my brother acted like that :(

[–]Jazzlike-Dinner 80 points81 points  (0 children)

I make my own lunch now, and I do try and cook dinner for the fam time to time

[–]shishirkhan961 32 points33 points  (0 children)

[–]DiamondSpider01Thank you mods, very cool! 2 points3 points  (5 children)

Maybe I shouldn't be rough with my little Russian

[–]S0l1dSn4k3101 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Indeed, he may grow up to be a major player in the FSB and will hunt down all those who have wronged him in the past...

[–]frodesrtuyhf 37 points38 points  (2 children)

Im selling my younger brother he peed on my ps5 Im selling him for 1cent

[–]jcholewadzfgfsda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]meinkejzsdrgsw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are a good man, thank you.

[–]OnionButter 105 points106 points  (3 children)

So your older brother got to eat the pizza part and you took all the crust and on top of that he got credit for being a kind and loving brother for doing so?

I’m impressed

[–]HyperVenom23iwrestledabeartwice 50 points51 points  (6 children)

I wish my younger brother appreciated my sacrifices like you, mine is an asshole I try to be nice and he treats me like shit, I hit him I get my ass whooped by my mother

[–]spinningduck1232Breaking EU Laws 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My mom would watch me fight while eating popcorn. (No joke)

[–]mr_cool_12345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same my little brother is a snitch

[–]ultramiggu 65 points66 points  (1 child)

You are a good man, thank you.

[–]shishirkhan961 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you are right

[–]CapableTrashCan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lmao! Imagine being the younger sibling and being able to make anything up to your older brother with out being pushed into a fan. LMAOOOOOO

[–]TonyXX25 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Love your story! 🥰

Thanks for sharing.

[–]FunctionalMorality 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My little sister spit in my cereal bc she was mad that I got the last of her favorite brand lol

[–]goblin-masterPlays MineCraft and not FortNite 5 points6 points  (1 child)

My big brother is the favorite.

[–]BrutuallyOPmemer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

happy Elder sibling noises

[–]thicmilkdaniIdentifies as a Cybertruck 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Wait I’m confused, how does the crust remotely correlate with the toppings on a pizza?

[–]beluuuuuuga 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I ate the crust of his pizza, he had the actual slice bit.

[–]thicmilkdaniIdentifies as a Cybertruck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh, what an excellently mannered big brother! I was just confused because you said he had to cut the crusts off because you didn’t like the toppings.

[–]dankrank231 76 points77 points  (14 children)

Im selling my younger brother he peed on my ps5 Im selling him for 1cent

[–]The1stmadman 36 points37 points  (3 children)

Are you a savage?!?!

at least take $1 for your troubles when you sell him

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (2 children)

He'll never get that whole dollar on the open market now that he told the world what the boy did.. even the organs are part of a broken, twisted system than can never be useful to another

[–]Alex_910memer 50 points51 points  (3 children)

Laughs in middle child

[–]Savage-Chipmunk 109 points110 points  (14 children)

Nah not really ... i wouldn't have it any other way

I have a 5 yo sister ( I am 19 ) and I'd happily go hungry if it means she can eat happily

[–]MorsecodeMimicsDirt Is Beautiful 82 points83 points  (9 children)

Damn son. I’m 20 with a 4yo little sister and she eats nothing but Mac and cheese and snacks. I just wanna fucking FORCE some proper food down her throat! She wouldn’t even eat mash potatoes I made cause she didn’t trust me that the little lumps in it was just potato!.... I’d happily go hungry if I could make her eat some good food for once.

[–]joyAunr 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You have a mission now

[–]Savage-Chipmunk 7 points8 points  (5 children)

Kinda same here

She likes french toast , olives and chocolate (and snacks)

Gotta give them what's good for them

[–]apoliticalinactivist 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Sounds like poor parenting.

Gotta establish a rule early on to try everything to make sure they actually don't like something before rejecting it.

As for refusing to eat, let them choose to starve themselves. You provide food and if they don't want to eat, that's on them. Life isn't perfect and can't always eat your favorites all the time.

Your parents guaranteeing a spoiled kid at the point, which isn't good for anyone involved.

[–]unkn0wn_RA1NB0W 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Again "Everyone liked that."

[–]Ylaaly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sometimes goes the other way round :( if my older brother wanted more Schnitzel, I got some sandwich cheese instead.

[–]Small-Cactus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Feels bad man :(

[–]blorgalorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Younger sibling here, older brother was the favorite. ‘Why can’t you be more like your brother??’ >.<

[–]thatawkwardgirl666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my life, it was the opposite. Between my mom and my stepdad, I was the youngest of 6 and went without my mom a lot (since she had to work a lot to support us even with my stepdad's income) so I had to be pretty autonomous early on since my siblings (except for my oldest brother who didn't live with us except one weekend a month) are selfish assholes.

[–]yerbamatey12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro I'm the younger sibling, but my brother is the sibling in the top of the meme and I'm the one in the bottom

[–]suuupmaro 986 points987 points  (50 children)

XD my mom wuld always be like take some cornflakes and then proceeded to make my brother some eggs

[–]LoserOfAllTrade 560 points561 points  (20 children)

I always thought reddit exaggerates, but this made me sad, bruh.

[–]suuupmaro 312 points313 points  (10 children)

Don't i rebeled and made my own eggs

[–]Nirvana_GeekMaths 107 points108 points  (7 children)

but arent u born witn double eggs?

[–]choccymilk06iwrestledabeartwice 63 points64 points  (5 children)

[–]GardenData61371memer 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well no, but actually yes.

[–]logamns 5 points6 points  (1 child)

When i told you i cracked my eggs very slow it’s perfect. But when the time i flip it is fucking failed. Im no awesome cooker.

[–]suuupmaro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

XD i never got very good at making eggs either

[–]Luxpreliator 75 points76 points  (4 children)

My sister went around telling people my mom would lock her in her room when she was sick. Padlock the door shut type of thing. Feed her slop through a slit in the door. Cut the power at 8 pm like a prison movie.

There is no padlock and the door is only lockable from the inside. When she would claim to be so sick she needed to stay home from school she would always miraculously be fully cured at around 3:30 when school was done and she could go play with friends. I remember hearing so many times, "if you are sick enough to not go to school you're too sick to go play." She would then pout on her room.

In her head she was restrained, abused, and unloved. In reality she is a delusional narcissist. And as always, people can go on the internet and lie.

[–]Beast_of_Xacor 16 points17 points  (3 children)

How is she now? Did she grow out of it? Or does she further makes others life misserable?

[–]Luxpreliator 40 points41 points  (2 children)

Unfortunately it was a permanent trait. My brother made a somewhat humorous observation that all of her recent boyfriends moved out of state withing 6 months of meeting her. Breaking up wasn't enough distance for them. They found new jobs and what-not, but it was funny thinking they were fleeing her.

[–]infinifunny 14 points15 points  (1 child)

They are now in the witness protection program lol

[–]Haggerstonian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this shit just kicked in babe

[–]bushrat88 9 points10 points  (1 child)

You missed out on the pun

[–]DemonicSpiritVandom 143 points144 points  (11 children)

Just tell your parents you love them equally and then proceed to make your father the better meal.

[–]suuupmaro 54 points55 points  (9 children)

If my parents were not devorsed i wuld have totally done this

[–]Hantesinferno 17 points18 points  (6 children)

Alright I need a tv show called Devorsed Court where it's just people who can't divorces unless they spell divorce right.

[–]suuupmaro 10 points11 points  (5 children)

Sry i am from Denmark

[–]Hantesinferno 9 points10 points  (2 children)

No don't apologise I love it. I legit prefer "different" spellings over the common ones. Bone apple tea is my favorite phrase ☺️

[–]suuupmaro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thx and that is a pretty good phrase

[–]Yash_We_Can 2 points3 points  (1 child)

its just jokes! youre fine no need to say sorry

[–]freakedmind 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Well thankfully they're not DIVORCED

[–]kabeer28 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well well well how the turntables

[–]I-am-shrek 5 points6 points  (8 children)

I've made my own breakfast as far as I am able to remember.

[–]Efferitas 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I remember my older brother complaining about something like that frequently. When I asked my mother about it, she said "he's 21, he can fry 2 eggs"

[–]Swollenhamster 2405 points2406 points  (77 children)

Every time my mom packed my lunch she would cut the crust off my sandwiches. Without fail she would pack it and I would check every day.

The crust was my favorite part and she knew it. She just hated me.

[–]tcduff 628 points629 points  (34 children)

Crusts ARE the best

[–]heckermanfxjhs 259 points260 points  (11 children)

Now this is sad for everyone with a younger sibling.

[–]WhyBroBruda 154 points155 points  (4 children)

Well mom dont make breakfast for us, Im the one cooking for my siblings. Dont get me wrong, both of my parents are busy all the time because of work.

[–]betesdefense 65 points66 points  (1 child)

You’re a good bro.

[–]cyrussfhgmlut 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Pspppsss, stay strong, you're not her son

[–]tcduff 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I make my own lunch now, and I do try and cook dinner for the fam time to time

[–]qrczaksdgfddhdg 10 points11 points  (1 child)

I always thought reddit exaggerates, but this made me sad, bruh.

[–]tcduff 10 points11 points  (1 child)

I’m the middle sibling lol. I was just in the centre

[–]calicocoolness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You were the lunch /s

[–]Old_Representative30 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Don't i rebeled and made my own eggs

[–]eyesoreM 143 points144 points  (3 children)

Maybe your mum is one of those anti-crust activists. They're not as well known as the anti-vax crowd, but they believe there's some connection between crusts and polio! It's sad really as there's no evidence. Anyway, everyone knows crusts cause lupus.

[–]SulkySideUp 34 points35 points  (2 children)

This is just copypasta

[–]sneark 7 points8 points  (1 child)

What’s the original? I don’t recognize it

[–]barker2017 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Had us in the first half...

[–]ektatic 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Damn really? Ouch

[–]SulkySideUp 18 points19 points  (1 child)

Not really. It’s copypasta.

[–]ektatic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

[–]ChefChaplin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats evil ...

[–]tardisgeekDirt Is Beautiful 309 points310 points  (16 children)

That’s when you fry an egg in the center of the cut out toast

[–]Nht2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness, and when you flip it over you'd have bear egg. Adorable!

[–]Pointy_Wierdo_13 393 points394 points  (32 children)

I hate it when my parents go soft on my brother just cause he is "young".

[–]Itookthenamespam 241 points242 points  (25 children)

Meanwhile when I was younger and I made a tiny mess out my plate, I got the slipper

[–]LoserOfAllTrade 152 points153 points  (12 children)

A new pair of slipper! I'm jealous.

I used to get a belt.

[–]mustafa_kilic 85 points86 points  (7 children)

A new belt! I'm jealous.

I used to get a beating.

[–]XindegoMods Are Nice People 69 points70 points  (3 children)

A new beater! I'm jealous

I used to get nothing.

[–]Mo_Ami 51 points52 points  (2 children)

A new...ㅤㅤㅤ. I'm jealous.

I used to get something.

[–]bushrat88 20 points21 points  (2 children)

A beating! I'm jealous.

I used to (and still do by my mother) get emotionally abused and beaten up.

[–]Sanccu 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Are you okay bro? This is sad. I get emotionally abused constantly and it isn't okay

[–]bushrat88 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm okay I'm moving in with my dad on 18th of December. But she emotionally abused me by making me be friends with some one who manipulated me mad made me have social anxiety and my mother won't let me end the friendship and if I say anything about ending it she will beat the shit outta me

[–]ardycake 9 points10 points  (1 child)

A fancy leather belt? I wish! I used to get a wooden spoon.

[–]weirdgroovynerd 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well, dad was already using the jumper cables on your older brother...

[–]RawIsThor 8 points9 points  (3 children)

Us older ones were the trainer kids. Oops we tried hard parenting with RawIsThor now next one we'll baby to see how that works out.

[–]Little_Tin_Goddess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this in the remnants of my soul.

[–]Savage-Chipmunk 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Which type ?

The soft rubber ones are not as bad as the leather or crocs

[–]reapr56 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This is so relatable, my parents growing up were so strict. You could never miss a day of school, even if it was raining(didn't have a car so with public transport), you were sick or just not feeling it. This was always the case for me.I could give a dozen more similar examples. Now they let my younger brothers miss school whenever and pretty much let them get away with anything. Where was the chill parents when I was growing up?? lmao

[–]goblin-masterPlays MineCraft and not FortNite 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Other way round for me he spends the entire day in his room Gaming I want to game instead of watch some romantic film and it's me who spends to much time on the PC

[–]DarkLordScorch 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Seriously, Both Me and my twin grew up having to give up a LOT of stuff for my younger brother, we would have to give up any toys he liked and when we complained about it our parents would say we were "too old" (we were seven years old when it started, seven!), he would get whatever he wanted, he would get fancy extravagant birthday parties that our parents couldn't get me and my twin because "it's too expensive", and he would get good food, meanwhile me and my brother had to cook our own (again, we were seven when it started) food, and we were terrible cooks. Whenever me and my brother did something wrong or got a bad grade we would get hour-long beatings, meanwhile the little shit would just be comforted and told just how much "momma" and "papa" love him. I hated it.

[–]ChemicalFreak69Mods Are Nice People 163 points164 points  (9 children)

This ain't even funny to me. It's just sad. I know how it feels. ;-;

[–]kaleey28 11 points12 points  (7 children)

Me too man. As soon as my little brother was old enough, I got thrown to the side.

[–]makattack24 6 points7 points  (6 children)

Same here with my bio dad and step mom. They loved my older sister and I until they had kids of their own. Completely forgotten about after that. One of the last time my sister and I went to visit them, while my bio dad was at work, my step mom took her 2 kids out to eat for lunch, and left us home with bologna sandwiches.

My mom remarried and that man became our dad. He eventually adopted us after my bio dad finally stopped pretending to even care anymore.

[–]TheEliteSlayer_1 4 points5 points  (5 children)

That’s terrible, I hope you and your sister recover from this neglect.

[–]b0iledorangejuiceLives in a Van Down by the River 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You gonna be ok bud?

[–]Halloween-Whale 192 points193 points  (16 children)

You guys get lunch?

[–]SLAYINSAYIN 169 points170 points  (12 children)

I could tell when I was young that I wasn't the favourite

[–]-jvckpot- 36 points37 points  (0 children)

:( I’m sorry

[–]DixieMcCall 26 points27 points  (3 children)

I'm glad that after a time I realized it was futile to try and change their minds and looked elsewhere for mentorship and love. Hope your path gets you what you need friend

[–]Sexyoldmann 11 points12 points  (2 children)

That’s where I’m at now, after a 25 years of my older sister being the absolute favorite, I no longer try to get their love and support. It’s out of my control, and only therapy showed me that. It does help that my older brother and I have talked about it a fair amount, so I have validation and he has helped me accept it too, but god damn does it make me so sad still sometimes.

[–]methpartysupplies 17 points18 points  (2 children)

I could too. I found out later that my mom has a bunch of baggage from her family. She was also the oldest and felt like her parents favored the younger ones. So obviously since she had that perspective she treated my brother and I equally once I pointed it out.

Just kidding, she continued to favor my younger brother and still does it into our 30s.

[–]Sexyoldmann 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Lolol how does she react to you pointing it out? I’ve shown my parents proof of their favoritism of my sister and they seem to reflect on it for a few seconds and then be like nah that’s bullshit

[–]SilentCalamity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My parents straight up admit to having favorites and say that if anyone says they don’t, they’re lying... :(

[–]the-bigg-buff-cat 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Yeah I’m the least favorite out of 5

[–]Little_Tin_Goddess 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Least favorite gang rise up?

[–]LEV1L 114 points115 points  (7 children)

It's the complete opposite at my house...

Sometimes I don't even get served, while my brother enjoys his food

[–]QuickerPlayGames 81 points82 points  (1 child)

Looks like survival of the fittest, next time steal his food, fight for it soldier

[–]justanaveragecomment 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Exactly, be like a pelican and push your sibling out of the house to survive.

[–]goblin-masterPlays MineCraft and not FortNite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have to make food for myself for lunch but my older bro has everything made for him

[–]CoolSk7memer 86 points87 points  (1 child)

Pspppsss, stay strong, you're not her son

[–]left_over_croissant 43 points44 points  (4 children)

I fill the hole in my chest with weetabix

[–]Nirvana_GeekMaths 20 points21 points  (0 children)

LSD works better....just saying...

[–]tkingsbu 8 points9 points  (1 child)

bless you for that....
Fucking LOVE Weetabix :)

[–]anonymous_idunno 94 points95 points  (2 children)

After reading the comments, I just think that some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids.

[–]-SpeedUp 94 points95 points  (3 children)

My situation is very different, I'm the younger sibling and I'm disliked by my mom, without any reason, she closes her eye and pretends she doesn't hear my brother when he belittles me, bully's me, I get psychical manipulation from my mom, brother, dad. Few of the things I remember clearly are: My family threatened to call cops on me (for some bizzare reason) and take me to orphanage (I think that's what it's called) to the point of me crying my eyes out and being dragged by force to door. Other one is when I read my rights to my parents and they laughed to my face and my dad said "I can sit in jail for 20 years but I don't think you can handle the consequences". So, yeah, I hate them, I'm planning to cut them out of my life when I'm older

[–]DaSkullCrusha 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Look up a child service helpline in your area and ca them from school or a friends house and tell whoever’s phone you are using to not tell your parents.

[–]mdaat 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My mother doesn't make me a breakfast

[–]Yous0n00bChungus Among Us 133 points134 points  (40 children)

The parents that prefer one child over another instead of loving them equally shouldn't be parents in first place.

[–]sbrinatheteenagelich 73 points74 points  (34 children)

Or they're human. Are you telling me that you don't prefer one parent? One friend to the others? One teacher? One co-worker?

Now, what I would agree with is that parents who treat their children differently because of that preference shouldn't be parents.

[–]reapr56 99 points100 points  (4 children)

Its okay to prefer one of them but you probably shouldn't make it so obvious. Thats a fast track to fucking up your kids.

[–]AeonsOfInstants 27 points28 points  (9 children)

Preferring a parent/teacher/authority figure/literally any person due to the way they act and treat you, is completely different to a parent who loves their kids differently due to having a “favourite”.

A child didn’t ask to be born and least of all didn’t ask to have whatever parent they got. One might “prefer” a child over another (making it sound more like having a favourite pet tbh), due to personality or interest or whatever, but no. You shouldn’t love one more than the other.

[–]OutrageousCarpet02 16 points17 points  (9 children)

The difference is I don’t share a parent with those people. You’re argument makes no sense.

If your parent has a blatant favourite child who is not you, that shit hurts.

[–]methpartysupplies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you telling me that you don't prefer one parent?

Yeah. Always preferred my grandparents actually 🤣

[–]Eddie6225 36 points37 points  (2 children)

I've had this problem now. My bother can get away with anything and if any problems arise regarding my brother, I get yelled at because I'm the one who's the elder one and supposed to be teaching and guiding him. Ffs, my brother learns bad stuff from the Internet and I get blamed for it.

[–]emailo1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What? Your parenta are supposed to teach him

[–]ultramiggu 48 points49 points  (5 children)

For me, my fater always used za belt, but my two younger brothers didn't even get to feel it once. On the one side, i kinda feel good abaout that, because thats what I wish for my brothers, but it was surely kinda unfair.

[–]Brazenn_Confirmed 17 points18 points  (3 children)

Youngest brother here, I've never gotten the belt but I've sure gotten the Slippers and the lotion bottle (I think? I don't remember much) slammed in my hand repeatedly by my brother for wanting a toy (I just said "hey mom I want this") and bam. My parents definitely favors my older siblings.

[–]ultramiggu 9 points10 points  (1 child)

It is very different for each pair of parents

[–]reapr56 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Relatable...and they wonder why I hate them and don't want to talk with them now.

[–]Yacinekp 13 points14 points  (0 children)

that's the cutest cat I've ever seen

[–]Captain-fach 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dont be a baby you got a bear shaped thing too

-Mom probably

[–]4672656542656572 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My mom used to do this with me and my brother but my mom always cracked an egg in the middle and fried it. She called it an "egg in a hole".

I still make them sometimes.

[–]Horghor 49 points50 points  (2 children)

The gives her child the unhealthiest type of bread (why not DINKELVOLLKORN?)

[–]RusuSlav76 23 points24 points  (6 children)

True. For school lunch i get only 5 bucks of my coutrys currency which only buys you a sasuage roll (3.50 bucks) and a very cheap soda (1.50 bucks) (the ones which are like half tap water and half chemicals). My little sis gets 10 bucks which gets you a decent sandwich (6 bucks), apple/banana (1 buck) and an actually good soda which does not taste as artificial (3 bucks). Idk if this is what my lil sis actually buys with her school money but if i were her thats what i would get.

[–]Hantesinferno 11 points12 points  (5 children)

Why not bring this up to your parents? I know everyone's situation is different but at the end of the day if you aren't getting enough food/good foods and your sister is you need to tell your parents. Unless ya know there's repurcussion or asking for fairness

[–]RusuSlav76 13 points14 points  (4 children)

Well ya know, i get the belt when i ask for extra money without doing chores.

[–]Posxidon 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Istg a younger sibling and politicians have a lot in common. They steal everything from you and cry when they’re found out. And somehow magically when they cry all is forgiven and life goes back to normal. What is this sorcery??

[–]5pr1tchmemer 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is outrageous, its unfair.

[–]Nomboy568 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is very accurate but it's little sister in my case

[–]ItsBitsak 14 points15 points  (4 children)

Facts that happens on christmas a lot to me i can see myself having max 2 -3 gifts considering the 10€ bill my mom and dad give me and dont get it wrong my parents have a very decent salary and no debt and then we have my sister and my step sister where both get anything they ask for like last chrismass they both got 38inc' flat screen tvs and ipad pros and i wont even talk about the money that they got(200€ each)... now that i am reading it it really starts to hit for good..

[–]NoCoolSenpai 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You don't get the trust, you only get the crust

[–]hexdipwpep 6 points7 points  (0 children)

you guy have breakfast ?

[–]Ok-Difference1341 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You got more bread tho

[–]Numbah_Wan 5 points6 points  (8 children)

I'm the younger sibling. We were quite poor and my father had barely any money left at the end of the month after paying our school fee and groceries.

Before I started school, my brother was given 2 riyals for his school allowance. But when I started school, my brother would give me 1 riyal and would give me his lunch.

Long story short, he went to university and became an engineer and still buys stuff for me which he really wanted for himself when he was a child. I'm a university student myself and he still takes care of me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm an Asian and Asian families work differently than Western families. The older sibling has the same rights as parents. It's up to the siblings whether they want to lead by example or abuse their power. My brother did the former.

Don't listen to her then. Then when she gives you your meal like that, call her a hypocrite for the rest of the week or day.

[–]Brazenn_Confirmed 13 points14 points  (30 children)

Then you get your ass beat.

[–]xziv0Plays MineCraft and not FortNite 13 points14 points  (29 children)

Then repeat. Until you've had enough and snap or something, I don't know.

[–]Faiz_ansari 8 points9 points  (0 children)

[–]_TheLoneDeveloper_Breaking EU Laws 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who's parents treat her little brother like God, and her like lying free babysitter, she was 17 and her brother around 7 or so, very sad.

[–]Minecraftybro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s sad

[–]First-Barnacle8525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, my brother gets food just as good as mine.
