Many tourists come to our subreddit to ask if they should go or stay in Nicaragua. While we adore our country and everyone should visit it at least once, the current political climate is very dangerous. Due to this, the United States of America has released a travel advisory of Level 3: Reconsider Travel due to crime, civil unrest, limited healthcare availability, and arbitrary enforcement of laws. Therefore, r/Nicaragua does not recommend tourists to travel to Nicaragua. You can read that advisory by clicking this. To tourist, friends and family staying in Nicaragua, please stay safe.
Muchos turistas vienen a nuestro subreddit para preguntar si deberían ir o quedarse en Nicaragua. Adoramos a nuestro país y todos deben visitarlo al menos una vez, pero el clima político actual es muy peligroso.
