Looking to potentially move from a rental in Troy to Beverly Hills and trying to weigh the pros/cons. My husband and I are in our mid-30s, have a 1 yr old and another baby on the way, and we both work in Detroit, Warren, or remote. Schools are important to us otherwise we’d move to Detroit. Beverly Hills seems like a nice central location and while there might not be much to do, it’s close enough to Royal Oak, Ferndale, and Detroit.

How does Beverly Hills do with power outages? Flooding? We seem to be pretty sheltered from bad outages and flooding in Troy, but not sure how bad things get in BH. Any unexpected downsides to living in BH?
