Last time I watched Dexter was in middle school, but I remember how he used to always bring in donuts to work as a “mask” and to get coworkers to like him

I decided to bring in a bunch of donuts and random stationary to my work and my coworkers suddenly treat me like I died for their sins lol.

I thought it would make me look like an annoying try-hard or something, but I’m just getting praised left and right. You’d think I performed life saving surgery or something lol. And all I did was being in donuts and then candy and snacks for three days.

Idk this just made me think of Dexter lol. Especially since I have a really nasty coworker who hates me and seems to distrust and resent me even more after I brought in donuts. I think she bad mouths me to management too. It’s reminding me of the cop who dislikes and distrusts Dexter too lol
