Who considered it a secret?

No one.

Uncle joe even said last week that he was gonna do it, just didn't say it officially. I think the title is just a joke.

🎵 Is the best case scenario really Joe Biden? 🎵

[–]wappledilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, but we get to relive the shittiest election cycle yet again, nonetheless… time for 4 more years of poverty since neither will lift a finger concerning the now nearly-extinct middle-class.

From USA TODAY's Joey Garrison and Michael Collins:

President Joe Biden announced his 2024 reelection campaign in a video released Tuesday morning, telling Americans "let's finish this job" as he seeks a second term in the White House.

Biden, making official a campaign that has long been expected, said the country remains in a "battle for the soul of America," doubling down on the central message of his campaign four years ago. He said the question facing the nation is "whether, in the years ahead, we have more freedom or less freedom, more rights or fewer."

"This is not a time to be complacent," Biden said in the three-minute video. "That's why I'm running for reelection. Because I know America. I know we're good and decent people. I know we're still a country that believes in honesty and respect and treating each other with dignity."

Although he has a decent Presidency this run, he is too old to run again for an other 4 years. Step aside old man, the future is now.

[–]yregEurope 0 points1 point  (4 children)

He is already too old now and yet we say he does the job decently.

To be fair, the previous contestant put the bar really low.

[–]pjx1 -1 points0 points  (5 children)

He ran on forgiving student debt...

is he just going to repeat the same pleasantries?

[–]JestdrumCalifornia 2 points3 points  (4 children)

And he did that. It's just being held up in the courts.

[–]pjx1 -2 points-1 points  (3 children)

That means he has not succeeded, just pushed the blame to someone else. He should have threatened the court with expansion before their row v wade decision. Then right after that decision, he should have packed the court to match federal districts in the nation.

He did nothing until it's done.

What he did do is alllow the people to have lost more freedom in this nation with his soft leadership since the McCarthy era.

[–]JestdrumCalifornia 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Expansion would be politically infeasible with the current Senate. What he did was unseat an incumbent president, manage to pass decades long Democratic priorities with the thinnest possible majority, and prevent the court from becoming a 7-2 conservative majority that probably would be in power for the rest of our lives. I think that's pretty neat. Y'all expect him to be Superman.

[–]pjx1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I expect him to be president and he rolled over on the Democrat's oldest and longest battle. He did a whisper before the supreme court killed americans' freedoms and nothing after it passed. I hear more from Trump on the regular than I hear from this mouse of a geriatric.

Also this tactic was used successfully by Roosevelt. Look up the Judicial Procedures Reform Bill of 1937.

Is the picture fifty years old?

I’m getting pretty tired of this pick your poison crap, I know most of us are probably gonna vote for joe but only because of who he’s running against.
