I heard that a Navy Corpsman doesn’t get a license to be a EMT or paramedic once they get out whereas Army and Air Force medics can get jobs as paramedics using their military education.
This got me thinking about Navy Divers. As a fully trained and educated Navy Diver can you go out and rent a nitrox tank? Does the Navy give you some type of card that says you’re a certified navy diver that is recognized at dive shops(would it be recognized worldwide)? Or does a Navy diver have to go attend a Open Water certification to do rec diving?
Just curious about the different types of jobs out there that involve diving, and whether or not it's common to teach part-time or if it's more of an all hands on deck type of career?
