to allow more visibility for lesser known bands and to keep posts limited to shoegaze the following bands have been blacklisted:
My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive
posts about either of these bands must be kept to anniversaries, demos, rarities, or live shows/pics/vids. doesn't apply to comments.

Repitive Threads, Screenshots, Spam Bot Warning
if your post has been removed it could be due to one of the following reasons:
repetitive threads: to keep the feed from clogging up with the same threads over and over again, discussion/question threads that have been posted multiple times before are subject to removal. the search bar is a useful tool.
screenshots: just don't post them, they are useless. post a link of literally any kind instead.
spam bot: removes posts/comments from users with low karma, modmail us if you need approval.

tolerated, but reposts (especially mbv pink light ones) may be removed at the discretion of our mods.

in accordance to reddit's guidelines and policies regarding harrassment and hostility, this subreddit will reinforce these rules with a zero tolernace policy.
any harrassment/hostility towards any members/mods of our community will be met with perma bans.
