I wouldn't reset your counter yet. This decline in SI and Shares On Loan smells more like a bug than reality. I've got an email off to Ortex asking them how Shares On Loan and SI can decrease by almost 20M shares on a day when the market is closed. It's actually really interesting to see "On Loan - New" and "On Loan - Returned" in relation to this Utilization drop and the previous small drop. Last time the shares were returned with a near equal amount of shares taken new. But this time we see a massive return with very little new shares on loan. Could this be some short closing? Or will we see a massive new position open in the next couple days (probably today)? I'm bullish on all the answers!
