Expenses or income post move cannot be calculated as I do not fully understand the rental or job market yet but can say that comparable homes are close to double in Miami (current) vs Charlotte (prospective city)

You are absolutely correct that we must sit down and weigh tangible vs intangible pros and cons.. was just hoping that someone had been in a similar spot before and could provide insight. I appreciate your effort in commenting though

I guess that's the only true answer, the one I didn't want but needed. There is no blanket right answer. Could I ask personally, not necessarily what you would decide but where you would lean in a similar convo? The financial vs emotional decision such as this one?

We are wanting to leave Miami to move to Charlotte which is absolutely more affordable but in no means cheap either. This all the info I can give off the top of my head, but feel free to ask any further questions if it help you pride guidance.
