Dettman played this at printworks a few years back. Will never forget the moment it hit.
A catharsis for the frustrated moral philosopher in all of us, and a place to finally find out if you were wrong in an argument that's been bothering you. Tell us about any non-violent conflict you have experienced; give us both sides of the story, and find out if you're right, or you're the asshole. I mean, American and English are nationalities not ethnicities, but yes the whole premise of describing anything that’s not white as “ethnic” is so horrifically cringe and flags you as a bit of a moron.

As good as houghton is I don’t think it’s close to Glasto in terms of vibe. There’s something special about being able to see top artists from multiple genres in the same day. Also attracts a far more diverse crowd which also adds to the vibe. I mean can you imagine kids at houghton…?

Swimming in Hampstead ponds, whilst lovely as it is, is about as far away from ‘wild’ as you can possibly get. Fully lifeguarded, changing areas and showers on site and diving board!! Like any swimming activity, precautions are necessary but the benefits far outweigh this.

This isn’t necessarily the case though. Watching a gig behind numerous people holding their phones aloft is genuinely quite annoying and impacts the experience of people stood behind. There’s a reason why top nightclubs are banning phones - it does take away from the experience.
