I'm ok with not signing that idiot.

Houllier deciding not to sign Cristiano Ronaldo because he wanted more money than Michael Owen is criminal though with hindsight

This time next week the transfer window still won't have opened yet

Next you'll be telling me he was duped by a fake George Weah into giving a Premier League debut to a random guy from Senegal who could barely play football

Right but it's literally mentioned in the article not to do it. Seems like unnecessary to risk anything that could benefit this guy

His name and where he's from is in the article but in general the point is here not to poison the jury pool

The defence argument would be that he's already been tried by public opinion and no reasonable person could judge him fairly as they've already been subjected to online commentary about him

IANAL but it's something along those lines that it helps his defence

Yes for next season Curtis Jones, Rhys Williams, Leighton Clarkson and Sepp van der Berg would have to be registered (all qualified as u21 freebies up until now)

There's a bunch of others who would also need registering, Bearne, Cain, Glatzel, Jaros etc but clearly wouldn't be

Sepp van den Berg is like that. He's homegrown qualified now for us and next season is the first one where he needs to be registered to be part of our first team squad.

We gave him a new contract before Christmas

Players under 21 don't count. Gravenberch, Lavia, Bellingham all aren't homegrown qualified but it doesn't matter until the season they turn 21

2024/25 for Gravenberch, 2025/26 for Bellingham and 2026/27 for Lavia

And it also celebrates a City title win, something that makes sense to wear when you're in a cup final, against City.

No thanks. Don't rate him at all.

What's the source on this one?

Right but it's dodgy. Not fully legal. The club doesn't see any of the money for instance.

People are free to make their own choices bur I think it's important not to mislead people and not advertise people selling fakes on our sub just in case.

Kind of like tout websites selling Liverpool tickets. Yeah you'll get in the ground by buying them but they're not official and shouldn't be encouraged

And I agree with him on it. But I don't agree with anything else he says in whatever playback he has.

Not sure why you don't get it
