Check this out... When taken before a judge at a bail hearing Nelson claimed he "was working a sting operation" but the DEA and RCMP both claimed that was a lie and proved it with documentation from the FBI itself that it was not running any stings into Canada. Still Nelson was grant bail which he promptly jumped. A mobster named Fischetti from Montreal and Ottawa posted the million dollar bail. Nelson was back at work in Miami 3 days after his arrest. Look at the OP link and you will understand just how untouchable this guy is.
