I love this Miami team. But I really think everything you said is true sadly. And it's gonna make a lot of guys salty.

[Arnovitz] Estimates of the NBA's potential losses from the China fallout number at least $200 million by iksnet in nba

[–]Zeech360 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Funniest thing is China overreacted badly and it never needed to come to this at all. But it's best to cut ties with such a fickle market anyways.

Another reason Nuggs make sense is because of who he'll be replacing. They need him to be just a better Gary Harris, which I'm sure he is/can be.

[Wojnarowski] Doc Rivers had two years left on his contract, sources tell ESPN. This is a challenging coaching search for Clippers, who are the ultimate win-now team. Among top candidates in the marketplace: Clippers assistant Ty Lue and former Rockets and Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy. by slamdunk23 in nba

What L? I've been low on the Clippers all season including their overrated defense. And they only proved me right after choking that lead and being exposed. If anything I got the W. Downvotes or not, I'm right and everyone knows it deep down.

You talk as if I'm bashing their fans. The players were cocky and unlikable. That's all there is to it. They deserve the hate.

Yes, because they're also the cockiest least-successful team.

It was a joke. Hence the "seriously though" right after.

A Doc filled with revenge may coach his ass off, you never know.. Seriously though, you just need the right staff around him like what he had in Boston. He still has a place as a coach in this league.

[Weiss] Oladipo and Turner might be on the move, Celtics could be a trading partner by iksnet in nba

Yes, he's coming off a bad injury and looked sub par in his return. He's also a potential one year rental.

Brian Windhorst on ESPN: The Thunder are looking for a rebuild. Timberwolves' assistant coach David Vanterpool, Raptors' assistant coach Adrian Griffin and Spurs' assistant coach Will Hardy are the top candidates for the OKC Thunder joaching job by moneybooy in nba

[–]Zeech360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the 2021 draft class is stacked with talent and it could be a very quick rebuild. Similar to Mavs tanking one season and landing a franchise player. OKC could do the same.

Denver can trade Gary Harris and maybe Barton. Dipo's value is very low right now, so Pacers don't have leverage.

Edit: Just remembered he's a free agent in 2021. So even better, a possible one year rental. Gary Harris and a 1st sounds better. Adding Barton is giving up too much.

To this reach the NBA Finals, Miami had to go against 3 of the top 6 rated defences in the league. The Lakers has yet to play a defence in the top 14. by VanVleet-goes-for-22 in nba

[–]Zeech360 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Okay? So is it not more accurate to use the latest examples, instead of the teams that were good defensively 5 or 6 months ago? Bucks were an elite defense before the shutdown, but were pretty bad in the bubble. Very disingenuous to pretend they were anywhere near the level they were at before the suspension.

Nah. If one thing is for certain, Butler and Bam will get to the line a lot.

Lakers proved that to be false. They earned their spot and dominated the playoffs. Bucks lost because Giannis isn't a playoff player currently.
