Gross?
Investing. Everyone seems to think they'r a genius. Then they lose their shirt and suddenly get all quiet about it, lol
For a time our whole neighborhood was cool with our kids playing outside together. It was great. Packs of kids roamed around riding bikes, building forts, and generally doing classic kid stuff. Then school stuff and activities started up again and everything went right back to the overscheduled BS of before with everyone in their own bubble.
An ex of mine had permanent sick voice. It was great. Lower voices in general on women are sexy. I can't stand those annoyingly high perky voices.
Performing onstage. There's nothing quite like the rush of getting in front of people to perform.
I knew she was the one when I spent a weekend with her. We had only been together at events of mutual friends before and being long distance couldn't do a normal date. After spending almost 48 hours straight together neither of us wanted it to end. If I could spend that much time with someone and still want more I knew she was the one. I drove back five days later and told her I loved her. She said she loved me too. We started dating. 3 months later we moved in together, and a few days shy of our anniversary got married. We celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary in January and love each other more than ever.
We changed. She was going one way, I was going another. I'm amazed we laated as long as we did, almost 6 years during high school and college with a couple breaks. But in that relationship I learned how to be a good boyfriend and break some shitty selfish habits. All the better for when I got together with my wife.
It's ok to relate a personal anecdote showing you have a shared experience, but end by connecting it back to the other person and then ask a question about their experience. That makes a it conversation and less of a two way monologue.
