Destiny 2 recently has been making my Xbox Series X frequently overheat, but I don't think it's a problem with my Xbox. Anyone have similar issues or suggestions? by BelieveTheSciFi in DestinyTheGame

I’m having the same issue. It’s nearly always when someone pops a tether shadowshot. My console is well ventilated and regularly cleaned/dusted etc. I’m pretty sure I saw a dev response on Twitter saying it is a known issue.

Came home from work to this on the doorstep. If it’s marketing then it’s not very effective as there are no identifying features or information of any sort! What am I unsubscribing from?! What is with the music?! Who missed me?! Should I be afraid?!

Just did a couple of runs like this, switched to full loadout once we were flying in and ran boots of the assembler. Field medic strats dropping wells for others and rifts central to heal the blueberries with the seekers! Great idea!

Overload and unstoppable champions. Lots of arc shields, a few void and the occasional solar shield. Divinity and someone with an Izanagi’s maybe with a couple running unstoppable? It seems rough this week compared to last weeks (the 1080 at least).

Pretty sure the Vex where you originally pick up the quest count, there’s plenty that spawn there.

Me and my bud are at the raid step, we have done the raid up to the boss but have not beaten it, and we have not done the puzzle before. Depending on time zone we would be interested if you find anyone to help? We can teach encounters up to the boss so would need someone who can sort that part!

Do you mean you are not getting the option for HDR or that it’s showing up too dark? If it’s the latter then I found a fix that worked for me: Exit D2, turn off HDR in console settings. Restart D2, set brightness to default (4 I think), then exit game again. Turn HDR back on in console settings, restart game and recalibrate HDR.

If it’s anything like Xbox you need to turn off HDR in console settings, go into Destiny and set the brightness to default. Then exit the game, turn console HDR back on, back into Destiny and adjust the HDR setting to your liking. Apparently the HDR option default is based on whatever your pre-HDR brightness was set to and this throws it off. Hope this helps, mine was noticeably better when I found this out!
