Is Vince Camuto Lamson running circles around Allen Edmonds Park Ave? by F2PwhaleTime in frugalmalefashion

I’ve had far more issues with leather consistency, sole quality / longevity, and the likes, post ownership change. It doesn’t mean it’s a bad shoe, it’s just a measure of relativity. Perhaps “drastically” is an overstatement, but the quality and quality control is certainly lower than before.

Is it a better shoe? Definitely not. Is it better value? At retail, it’s hard to justify spending $400 on AEs. Their quality has declined drastically ever since their change in ownership. But what really matters is if you find the shoe comfortable and feel confident in them. If $90 gets you that, I’d say you’re golden.

Did it in manual yes, but a little overexposed at the beginning and a little underexposed at the end (settings were the same through the whole half hour). That way I could adjust the full series without introducing significant noise in post. Technically, in a day to night transition, it’s useful to follow the holy grail methodology, but I’ll give that a shot next time.

Also, when working with a ton of images, it’s useful to use software like LRTimelapse because it allows you to edit a few key images and smoothes in the transitions across the rest of the hyperlapse. In this instance, I just edited 6 frames manually!

Thank you! Can’t say the idea is original, but first time I’ve seen it done for Minneapolis :)

This was actually a drone shot! Took a hyperlapse of about 600 pictures and picked 6 to create a time slice version of the hyperlapse. If the video turns out decent, I’ll post a link to it.

Gorgeous! I really wish I made it out that night, but I was busy watching John Wick and driving 2 hours north seemed painful haha.

I kept the drone in the same spot and did about 600 pics over 30 minutes. Mostly so I could do a video of it as well later on if I wanted. That said, I started right past golden hour and went until sunset, ideally you can go longer to get blue hour in as well!

For combining them, edited in Lightroom first (after picking 6 pics that were spread throughout the Timelapse) and then used photoshop and layers to align and make the final product
