A place to get personal things off your chest. Not for opinions, not for relationship advice, and not for preaching.
When I was in 2nd grade I was very shy and mostly kept to myself. I never had a problem with anyone, EXCEPT for a boy in my class who constantly picked on me. It started with name calling, and it eventually developed into spreading rumors about me. It really upset me. Sometime before Christmas break, I decided I would get revenge. Before school would end each day, boys and girls were sent to use the bathroom in separate groups. When the boys were sent to the restroom, I would sneak into his desk, and steal a few pages from a notebook he had written in. I would take them home and practice writing like him. I repeated this process for about a week, before I decided I had mastered his handwriting. A week before Christmas break, I wrote terrible, nasty letters to each student in the class in his handwriting. The worst things I could come up with. I waited for recess, and quietly snuck the letters into each desk. There was also another addressed to the teacher. This recess went by fast, and before I knew it, we were lining up to return to class. I tried my best not to smile or giggle, because I didn’t want to blow this whole operation.
When we got back to the classroom, it was showtime. It took about 5 seconds before everyone found their letters. It was mayhem. Kids were crying, and the teacher was angry. That boy was sent to the office and I’ll never forget the look on his face. He was shocked and confused. It was a huge event. Parents got emails and calls, and we were told that the boy wouldn’t be coming back to school. His parents were angry and to their credit fought tooth and nail to try to get to the bottom of it. I felt really guilty, but at this point I was in too deep. I couldn’t confess, because then I would be in for a punishment far worse than what he got. To this day, I’ve never really heard anything about the boy. I don’t know if things got better for him, but I’m pretty sure he moved away.

Well thank you that’s a very kind gesture. We are going to watch the 1st round together, so we’ll see how that goes.

I will remind him of that. We had some conversations about compromise and so far he is willing, so I am optimistic.

I do agree that marriage is about compromise. We both have a similar interest in Star Wars, so there is a positive I will try to use.

He’s not neurodivergent, and doesn’t have ADHD. I think that you make a good point as it goes both ways. Thank you for your comment.
