If “space invader” was a well-known idiom for an intrusive thought it would make sense, otherwise it just comes across as obtuse IMO.

I love System, but “We’re in a different kind of thing now” is one of the laziest lines ever written.

I’m personally not a fan of Matt’s propensity to use a silly rhyming word/phrase when he can’t come up with anything meaningful. I mean “It’ll come to me later like a space invader” annoys me because it’s nonsense.
