I think it was chores growing up. I had to cut the grass, wash the cars, vacuum the living room and now I got my 3 year old son making his bed, clearing his plate from the table, and sweeping the floor.

To me I made it when I quit my job waiting tables. When I was in 2nd grade I told my teacher on career day I wanted to be a standup comedian and they told me to choose something else and that's when I knew!

I think it was an Indian casino that I did out ther eand had a blast. Putting a tour together for 2024 and I'll let you know if Thackerville makes it. Dallas? Oh yeah - I love Dallas. There's a street called Beltline Road I think that has the most restaurants per square mile or something that I always like to go to.

I don't want to brag, but I was a perfect son ha! However, there were times that I got out of line would just shoot me a look and that would be the end of the bad behavior. Now, as a father, I have tried to implement the look to my own kids...however that doesn't seem to work.

When De Niro was giving me advice on how to be emotional in a scene. He had told me to think about my father coming here from another country, learning the language, starting a business, and that motivated me to start thinking about his journey which in turn made me get kind of sentimental and ultimately started to cry.

I was always interested in getting into it. Do I love it as much as standup? No and fortunately I'm in a position where I can do projects I really really enjoy. I never force any project just for a paycheck, it has to feel like the right thing. Like Super Mario, I grew up on that and I have two kids - I thought it'd be fun for them to see daddy as an animated character. I do things for the sheer passion of doing it.

I guess my favorite part was being a part of a group of people working towards one goal which I miss because standup you're so alone and it's nice to be a part of a team.

My dad does not make homemade pasta, but when he has pasta he likes a Bolognese sauce. My dad I think is retired from the kitchen, he's gonna be 77 in two weeks and he can't remember where the pots and pans are.

So tonight I'll be at the Improv in Hollywood working out two bits that are life experiences that have happened to me. I don't sit in a room and write out funny things. I live my life and basically report it back to the audience. The bits I'm currently working on have to do with how everyone is outraged on the internet and my experience at Universal Studios.

My favorite memory with my father was back in high school he used to come to all my soccer games and it would be the drive home after a good performance. I was happy that I made him happy...however the worst times were when I sucked ha!

I haven't made it back since I graduated in 1995, although I would not mind coming back to the school to perform. My favorite hangout place is a bar that's no longer there called Amnesia.

I know this sounds basic, but I make one of the best rib eye steaks you'll ever have in your life. The reason being is, and I got this from a guy by the name of Burt Bakman who owns Slab here in Los Angeles, something called coast to coast - meaning if you want medium rare, throughout the entire steak it's medium rare. When you cut it open, it's just one color throughout. And if you want to know how to do it, there's a YouTube channel called Food Haus (I think?) - they have the best way to cook meat.

My dad saw the movie and was emotional at the end, I couldn't imagine what he was feeling watching Robert De Niro play him in a movie. He's very proud!

I could not sleep for 2 nights prior to filming, the first scene of that movie was with De Niro and Pesce. Martin Scorsese made me feel at home and really guided me through the process.

Bobby Lee used to work the door at the comedy store when I first started in 1998. I've always enjoyed hanging out with him, he's one of the funniest guys I know. He came to my wedding which was in Napa, California and left after 30 minutes of being there.
