TIL ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean 5’ made around $120M of profit. If Depp wasn't so controversial & if he wasn't a mess during filming, Disney probably would've made Pirates 6 by now by DamnThatsInsaneLol in boxoffice

The report says it'll make a profit of $283 million with a WW gross of 850 million. So I actually shaved off more than half of that (just to be safe) and said $120 million.

Quentin Tarantino says his final film ‘THE MOVIE CRITIC’ takes place in California in 1977 and is based on a guy who really lived, but was never really famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a porno rag. by Officialnoah in movies

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, he conceded, are too old for the part.

“I haven’t decided yet but it’s going to be somebody in the 35 year-old ball park. It’ll definitely be a new leading man for me.”

“The truth of the matter is, yes, obviously, a Brit could pull it off, but I don’t want to cast a Brit."

So male actor, American, aged around early to mid-30s, someone who hasn't been the lead of a Tarantino film before. I feel like its gonna be Austin Butler. He worked with him before in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and fits the criteria.

Austin Butler makes the most sense. He worked with him before in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, he's American and he fits the age range (he's 31).

Quentin Tarantino’s next movie will indeed be about a movie critic from the 1970s but it won’t be about film critic Pauline Kael. Instead, it will reportedly be based on a man who wrote for a porno magazine. by lawrencedun2002 in boxoffice

Technically he didn't say its someone he hasn't worked with. He just said its a "new leading man" for him and that its not DiCaprio or Pitt. So it could be someone who had a supporting role in his films.

Your guesses are excellent choices though, especially Pattinson. Every 30-40 aged male actor will be auditioning for this role so can't wait to see who he picks.

Edit: He said "I don’t want to cast a Brit". Damn, that rules out Pattinson, Radcliffe, Kaluuya, Garfield and so many more.
