This seed is really fun! I started messing around in it this afternoon and it's very scenic. Thanks for sharing.

This seed still works in the full 1.20 release! I tested it out and it's a lot of fun.

I would not, personally, put my own poop in my pocket.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate the insight especially coming from such a seasoned GP veteran. I suppose I'll have to find some other corner of the gig economy nightmare to trawl around in for extra cash this summer.

Hey everybody, I'm thinking of getting back into GoPuff as a side gig because I've hit some stressful financial straits (who hasn't?) recently, and I preferred GP over other delivery companies (like UberEats) because there's a central location and I didn't have to worry about constantly finding parking outside restaurants in LA. I know GP is shit, but it was the lesser of the gig economy evils for me.
I stopped doing GP in about February of 2022 because the money just wasn't worth it. They'd completely slashed scheduled hours, so I was never getting hours (even if I wanted to work 1am-3am shifts on Tuesdays or whatever) and wasn't making much money doing on-demand orders. I was working in the West Hollywood/Beverly Grove/Beverly Hills area, for context.
So...What's the situation in LA these days? Does anyone get scheduled hours again, or is it still near-impossible (or maybe just impossible) to get them? Is it possible to make money? This is a side gig, so I don't need much extra cash, maybe a few hundred extra a month -- is that doable?
I'd appreciate any feedback that LA-area drivers can offer.

I know this is an old post, but I just had to chime in. When I was doing Gopuff last year, I delivered to a guy who ordered, like, almost two dozen tall (~16oz) cans of Yerba Mate -- he ordered so many that we didn't have enough in stock and we weren't able to give him his full order (like, he ordered 20+ or whatever, but we only had 18 or something like that). Also, we didn't have those cardboard-and-plastic flat packs of Yerba Mate, so the people packing the orders shoved all the cans into one big plastic bag. I felt like Santa carrying a big bag of presents to his front door.
There was also another guy who never ordered anything weird, but he'd put in small orders of just a couple items 3+ times a night -- I'd pretty frequently get two of his orders in one night, and I could tell from driver comments that he was placing even more orders than that. It was really strange. It was a rich area, though, so maybe he just had the cash to do tons of orders...on the other hand, he never tipped. Really perplexing character.

Wow, thanks! I think this is the original post I saw back in 2013-ish. I can't believe I'm seeing it again. I really appreciate it.
