He’s a nasty predatory freak who exerted power and control over young women at the limits of what he knew he could get away with. These sick fucking guys are all the same. Middle aged miserable creeps who have the same phone sex little girl kink, the same wife & kid waiting at home, the same delusion that their dusty ass “art” is the center of the universe. They’re dirty & washed up at the same time. They target young insecure girls because they are psychologically vulnerable, and condition them for years. The girls made bad choices but the man is a bad person. The psychological toll of this type of relationship is enormous and the women will suffer those repercussions for years. The only limits he exercised here were to try to keep from getting caught, this guy is a stone cold predator. ALSO these fucking guys tell on themselves because they have so much hubris they think they will never get caught. This guy played himself in You, Win Butler wrote that trash song Chemistry about picking up drunk broke young girls who have to hide him from their mom

No. I have no issue with people listening to the band. I hate the same people who keep showing up to deride the claimants outright. I know he didn’t do anything criminal. I think he got exactly what he deserved which was public scrutiny and for people to get wise to his actions.

I posted this article before I read it. It doesn’t add anything, except the pop montreal thing is passingly interesting. I don’t really know what NPR’s intention with it was but since it’s out I’m sure as heck gonna share it here. It’s still an official entry in the conversation by a major platform. I got especially snarky this time around because for some reason it turned my gut even more this time to see how nasty some people are in this sub.

Are you dumb? The organizer of the event said he was nasty behind the scenes to work with & then was outraged to find out win targeted a girl at that event. He was outraged that his event was used by win for that behavior. Try using critical thought while you read
