I drive in once a week and def wouldn’t take my car past Whitby. Traffic grinds to a halt. I do Whitby Go to union and it’s 2 hours from my house to work, door to door.

A planned high-frequency passenger train service between Toronto and Quebec City, with a stop in Peterborough, is “the largest infrastructure project in Canada’s history,” said federal Transport Minister Omar Alghabra on a visit to Peterborough on Thursday — and that’s why it will take until “the early 2030s” to introduce the service.

“I wish there was a button that I could press and make it happen overnight. But these types of projects take time,” Alghabra said at a Thursday morning press conference at the Peterborough and Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce offices in the historic train station on George Street.

Exact same issue. Brand new Continental 96% efficiency furnace. Been through so many trouble shooting chats with Ecobee, each one seeming to fix the issue short term. I know the furnace isnt an issue, because when I put it in "test" mode through ecobee, it works fine. But today is freezing and I have my heat set to 23C. It dropped to 18C with still no call for heat. I've already done the step mentioned here, and have turned off eco mode too.

Has anyone had any success getting a replacement thermostat, and did that help?
