It’s snow melt from our local mountains! And it hasn’t travelled far so it stays quite cold, even on the warmest days of the year.

Interesting. When I hear “Eastern” in regards to North America, I think of drier and less lush. However, I guess Alaska’s most eastern part has the same wilderness as the the West Coast of Canada.
