The ZeroCovidCommunity is a place where people who are passionate about reducing the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and protecting those who are at high risk can come together with a shared vision for the future. We are here to discuss the pandemic and politics, share info, and support one another. Individual mitigations can be a forced response to a lack of systemic solutions, but it is the latter that should be the main subject of activism. Engineering is better than hate.

Anecdotal source: me.
Within a half hour of receiving my second Pfizer shot (not a booster) I experienced intense joint and muscle pain. I live in a major city and walk everywhere. It's a 3 mile walk from my apartment to the center where I got the vaccine. No problem on the way down but on the way back I had serious trouble walking because of intense leg and hip pain. It had been snowing for the past week and I was wearing new winter boots and thought I probably had them on too long. . . until I got home, put on my slippers and had the same difficulty walking from my bedroom to the kitchen. Other symptoms, mostly fatigue and flu-like, developed 12-14 hours later. After my first Pfizer vax, I felt dizzy within 10 minutes. This came and went for about eight hours.
People have different metabolisms so there's a range of side effect onset and even if side effects are experienced. But why tell somebody who knows their body and doesn't fit into the typical response range that they are wrong?

Yeah, let's kill people who want to live and prevent terminally ill patients who want a dignified death from getting one. This country is so fucked up.

I think Tolstoy thought Shakespeare was amoral, but why quibble?

Yes, it's easy to see why an author who could vividly draw a minor character in a sentence would grow impatient with Shakespeare. But underlying that, I think, is Tolstoy's objection to Shakespeare's amorality.

I knew a girl whose grandfather was a dentist and he saved a little bit of all the gold he bought and when gold took off, whenever it took off, he was set.
