I could be wrong but I believe this has to do with the unique pricing of transatlantic flights and the relationship that has with business and leisure travelers.

Travelers originating in the US are more likely to be business travelers whereas travelers originating in Europe are more likely to be leisure travelers, which is one factor leading to the pricing differences. Airlines can get away with charging business travel more because leisure travelers are more price sensitive. Prices also change based on how long you stay at the destination, which is also due to differences in travel behavior between business and leisure. When you book a one-way flight, the airline doesn't know how long you're staying for and charges more to prevent exploits.

You can check this right now, compare the difference between flying roundtrip from US to Europe vs Europe to US and see the difference in price, work with any airline on most routes. You'll also see how much it increases if you change to one-way.

PQFs actually are unlikely to be my issue, I will most likely have around 30 by the end of the year, but PQP is my main issue as I just don't spend enough. Guess we'll see what happens lol

8 PQF and 1788 PQP. The bulk of my travel happens during the second half of the year, only made two trips so far.

I find it to be a top-tier album. I have to wear headphones quite a bit because of sensory processing issues so I choose to listen to music quite a bit, especially when working, and I almost exclusively listen to AF. I find the attention to detail in the sound design to be remarkable, especially across Age of Anxiety I and End of the Empire IV (Sagittarius A*). The only problem I have with the album is in the final track WE where there is some imperfect looping with vocals, but besides that I find every song to be enjoyable, and more consistent in quality, unlike their other albums where it is more up and down.

As a Canadian citizen, you do not require a visa to enter the Schengen Area. You should be free to pass through passport control, spend some time outside the airport, and return later for your flight without any problems.

Depending on your budget, and assuming Italy is your final destination, if you cannot make the flight directly into Italy it might be worth considering flying into Zürich if they'll allow it. The rail connections from Switzerland into Italy are quite fast and could help you reach your destination almost on time if things take a turn for the worst.

This is something I've made sure of from the start, currently have my brother and father on the case, the only other ones eligible besides my grandfather. Including my brother was a very important part for me.

I appreciate the insight, however, I'm a 20 year old who spent most of his savings on the legal fees for the case, so anywhere I can potentially get it done myself I'm going to try my best. I will definitely keep the service in mind should I need it later though.
