What's the most hurtful thing your parent ever said to you?
My mother threw me out at 16 after years of abuse from her and my stepfather. She went completely no contact with me and so did the rest of the family so they didn't have to deal with drama with her if they spoke to me. At 18 I became a mother and decided to try and reach out to see if she had changed any. I called and she immediately started with her crazy antics. She belittled me for a few minutes and then said to her I was dead. She screamed and yelled for a few more minutes and then said...one last thing before I go...I hope one day that you get to old for that husband of yours and he starts looking at your child like that. I was shook. I knew my mother was a vile person but that just gave me a whole new level of disgust for her. Fast forward to now...I'm 40 now and that is the last time I ever spoke to my mother.
Still the most hurtful thing anyone has ever said to me.
Delivering with kids
My daughter is like this as well. She is 22 with ASD and loves riding along. She helps unload sometimes if she wants.

That's pretty much all that is available at the moment in my area. I love them. They sit for a while and then I take them when the price gets higher. Normally 30 minutes before the delivery window. Works well for me.
The fuck is this screen? Where are the street addresses? This is in California, and we're playing guessing games with work orders again? $5.50 "Gauranteed" but they're still hiding tips?!!?
Click on the house icon and it gives an address. I also noticed my widget doesn't come up anymore until after I accept the order.

I just started having this too and I'm in a small area in Texas.
First time getting a msg like this. shout out to that customer!
I got 2 of these before. One was like $5 and another $7.50.
Nothing but Walmart pings this afternoon
I saw this today too for the first time in my area. Didn't take any of them.

I saw this yesterday. I was in Panda Express and a dasher was on their phone loudly complaining about the wait (which was less than a minute or two) and having to full up 2 cups. It was ridiculous.
Did I mess up?
I got this too. I did have someone try to get me to do this 2 weeks ago. Said that the drivers always just scan their own ID and he gives them cash for doing it. I said no and reported it to the mfc. He was obviously in his 40's but I don't care. I'm not doing it.
Would it be weird to leave snacks for delivery drivers?
We had a delivery with a snack basket and it was perfect timing and helped me be able to wait to ear dinner until I got home. We (my kids and I) picked a package of goldfish and shared them. They both 21 and 14 have autism as well.
Someone asked about doormats, here's one from earlier
I saw one in Dallas that said...it's a Crack home not a Crack house. Another said...do you have a warrant?
I was secretly hoping for 10% …that would’ve been amazingly fitting—- but reality is amusing af— grateful for the work and chuckles
They were like that here too and once they got busier it dropped way down.
Is this typical pay? This is for my first week and I am in the Philadelphia area.
Yes for me most weeks
Weekly bonus
I'm seeing a ton of dropped hours today. The last two weeks I fought to get any. Anyone else notice more scheduled hours available today?

The most important thing for me when little is consistency from my Daddy.
This what Gopuff on
I do other gigs. I also have other income. Was just trying out a different location and was sharing my experience.
WTF
I don't. I bounce around. I have 5 locations like 10 minutes apart depending on traffic. The bonus buckets were higher here too until more drivers signed up. I don't know if this is true but I was told by staff they are higher when the facility first opens so the can get drivers to sign up. The facilities here have been open about 3 years I believe.
WTF
I try to keep track of how many I do at each mfc so I don't knock myself out of the bonus thing I want. Like I'll do x amount at the one I chose and then do 1 less at the other locations. 8 wasn't paying attention last night and knocked myself out but it turned out to be good because it was 25 for $85 instead of 45 for $90.
WTF
As soon as you make more deliveries for the new one it will change
Any drivers in my area on here?
This what Gopuff on
I was working in Plano Texas the other night. I was scheduled til 10. The girl came out and said I see you were wanting off at 10. I said no...there were only scheduled shifts til 10. She said that they used to could send a thing asking for more hours and normally they would grant it and that she would try and do that. She came back and said they told her that now what you get is what you get and that's all. I stayed because they had orders needing to go out but if not I would of bolted. One of the wealthier areas in this area and the per order pay 3.50 and subsidy is 8 and they do not tip. I just went there because I was able to schedule there.
Another day, another issue.....
I just received this too.
Gone in less than 2 minutes
Same in my part of Texas. Don't depend on only one app. All the apps appear to be slowing down and having non tippers in this area. I'm fortunate because apps are not my only source of income. OP I'm sorry you are in the situation you are in...sending good thoughts your way...
WTF
You get the bonus for the warehouse you did the most deliveries for. I try and keep a count so I know when to stop to keep the bonus I want.
I want to ask you other drivers a question.
In my area I feel vapes tip best.
