又来了，典中典之提线木偶论，早期再怎么是苏联赞助的也改变不了中共后来在毛泽东的领导下跟苏共闹掰了的事实，也改变不了苏联影响被毛泽东逐步彻底肃清的事实。列宁还是德皇放回来的，华盛顿还是法国赞助的，难道拿援助就成恩情利滚利还不完了？

nm金日成这个真·苏联扶上位的都把朝鲜苏联派给彻底毁灭了，这有啥好隐瞒的，共产党得天下的时候苏联派早就名存实亡了，到了文革剩下的也一锅端，毛死后中国除了陈云连一个亲苏的都没了。

I discussed this on the Chinese internet and a bunch of people think that from the long term perspective its actually a good deal for Turkey because they are now forced to develop their own 5th gen fighter (with actually moderate success in doing so). Granted it will probably be inferior to the F-35 but it gives them experience in building aircraft.

There is no way Vietnam is going against China and Russia. People keep overestimating the tension between China and Vietnam's governments. At best they'd be neutral. (As long as in your timeline South Vietnam didn't win the war)

慶豐 Qingfeng literally means "Celebrating harvest". It came from the name of a restaurant that Xi ate at early in his tenure and simply stuck. Usually era names are just auspicious compounds of two (rarely also four) Chinese characters chosen by the emperor to represent periods of his reign with some emperors having only one and others having multiple. Examples of real era names in Chinese history are 元狩 Yuanshou "Primal hunt" 永昌 Yongchang "Eternally prosperous" 洪武 Hongwu "Grandly martial" 乾隆 Qianlong "Celestial rise" 大象 Daxiang "Grand appearance" 開皇 Kaihuang "Establishing the emperor" 天寶 "Heavenly treasure" 永樂 Yongle "Eternal rejoicing" etc.

Very nice and interesting. Minor correction: in imperial East Asian culture, it was absolutely inappropriate to refer to a sitting monarch by personal name because the name was taboo. In addition, in the case of China (but not Korea) the dynasty would not be named after the sitting monarch's surname. If Xi was emperor, he would be referred as era name + emperor while still alive. For example, say that his era name was Qingfeng 慶豐 (its a common era name given to him by Chinese netizens), he would be refered to as the Qingfeng Emperor. In Korea's case, since according to the map North Korea had declared itself an empire, so it should also have an era name (unlike most Korea states that became Chinese tributaries so they used the Chinese era name). Kim Il-sung would probably be the Juche Emperor and Kim Jong-il the Songun Emperor, but I'm not too sure for Kim Jong-un. I don't know if any appellation is popular over there for him or if his policies have a two syllable slogan, so perhaps Koreans can suggest something.

For some reason people keep repeating some talking point that the CCP didn't fight Japan, which is blatantly false as evidenced by events such as the Hundred Regiments offensive. The main reason is that the CCP during the early stages of the war wasn't even strong enough to fight pitched battles, they had like 2 armies of less than 200000 men when the war began and facing the Japs head on then was suicide, so they opted for building guerilla bases. Just as an example, in this video (made by a Taiwanese): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDmvH39WXHw you can see from 9:00 to 12:00 how the CCP was gradually eating away at Japanese controlled territories in central China (they are marked in grey). By the war's end they had 1.2 million men, a result of well planned guerilla campaigns and recruitment.

As a side note, the CCP refused to fight pitched battles even after the Chinese civil war resumed, only beginning to do so once they reached 2 million men in 1947 against the nationalists 4 million.

What the CCP did after they assumed power is irrelevant to the process by which they ascended. Even Chiang himself admitted after his defeat that he was bested fair and square. Saying the CCP did nothing during WW2 and the fought a weakened nationalist government (which isn't even true as the nationalists in 1945 were far, far stronger than the nationalists in 1937) is plain bad history regardless of your view on the CCP itself.

至于226本身，如果你不了解，是1936年日本的一场青年军官领导的军国主义皇道派兵变，类比今天就是北京卫戍区的青年官兵们全部成为入关学信徒，天天高强度阅读曹丰泽语录，然后因为不满当前政府不敢打台湾甚至不敢直接打日本打美国所以冲了中南海，把常委们全部讨死（但不碰主席本人，毕竟要清君侧尊皇讨奸，不能把皇给讨了），然后建立军国主义政权直接去太平洋上干美国，大概就是这个意思。
