I’ll be there and I’m down to get some drinks
Yeah personally I feel Barry Lyndon is his most overrated film amongst fans. It’s a gorgeous piece of cinematography but the story doesn’t do much for me and the ending doesn’t give me chills like a lot of his other films.
After you watch a couple of his films you should give an update and let us know what movies you liked. I think that would be interesting
Well my moms always been a big fan of The Shining and I remember seeing her watching it when I was a kid and she would tell me to leave the room cause I was going to get scared lol. When I was around 13 I came across the boot camp scenes in Full Metal Jacket and thought it was hilarious. Soon after I stumbled across 2001 a space odyssey when it was on Netflix and I didn’t understand it but I knew I had just watched the most amazing film ever. Shortly after I discovered that Kubrick had directed 2001 and FMJ and so I watched all of FMJ and was horrified of course. Than I learned he directed The Shining and so now I’ve seen all his films and love most of them.
